CPIM, CSCP, CLTD:

Must earn a total of 75 professional development points every five years.  

If you fail to maintain your certification within five years, it will be placed in a suspended status and you may not claim certification status until you meet APICS' requirements for reinstatement.

With each additional year that your certification is suspended, you are required to submit 15 additional professional development points to reinstate your certification

If you do not maintain certification within five years of suspension, your certification will expire, and you will be required to retake your exams. You will be unable to claim certification status until you meet APICS' requirements for reinstatement.

 


CFPIM:

Must earn a total of 100 professional development points every five years.

If you fail to maintain your certification within five years, it will be placed in a suspended status and you may not claim CFPIM  status until you meet APICS' requirements for reinstatement.

If you do not maintain certification within five years of suspension, your certification will expire, and you will be required to reapply.You will be unable to claim CFPIM certified status until you meet APICS' requirements for reinstatement.

Maintaining active certification confirms your professional credibility. Please visit apics.org  frequently to stay abreast of maintenance program requirements and policies for all APICS certification exams.

A certification verification tool is offered to the public on the APICS website to provide prospective employers and other stakeholders with a simple, easy way to verify an individual’s certification status. Candidates who require verification of their own credentials for personal use can view a detailed report through My APICS > Certifications.
